mate of mine just used a bit of offcut foam from clarke rubber and zip ties it around his stainless snorkel
all my mates run these in 35" fedreal courgaia , very good for the price and works well in the mud

another few reasons why a engine will overheat is, clogged radiators and also your clutch fan not kicking in

Engine Bay (brackets for the cooler have all been fixed up)...
ditched the 600x300 intercooler for a smaller one so it would fit, now runs 20psi boost, injector pump is maxed out, hauls arse
also bought a new 6hp winch motor and 2x 900cca Optima Batterys

Just installed a turbosmart boost controller, turbo is now running 14psi
think you would be better going to MT Cole area for challenging tracks
or just put a rb26dett in it, stuff frigging around with old school RB30's
I seen one of these and have to say they look very impressive (guy from portland owns it) especially with a h1 4 door ute body on it and rolling on what looked to be 37" or 38" inch treps

Also got a leaking rear seal on the transfer case which needs attention
ripped out the hotdog so its now 3" straight through from the turbo
Mounted the Boost Gauge & EGT Gauge on the pillar, turbo currently runs 12psi boost
Just got a GU 3ltr Airbox for $80, also...

got the DTS turbo kit on and running, love the power and I haven't even adjusted the injector pump yet (need a fitting for the pyro)

I just bought a DTS turbo for my GQ patrol but im having trouble finding where to run the oil supply for accoring to the instructions it says to run it from a hole near the engine mount
anyone got...
Yeah the DTS kit should be here later in the week also got a pyrometer on its way as well, should have it all hooked up in a few weeks the next thing after that will be to find another transmission...

Getting a DTS turbo kit within the next 2 weeks, was going to get a JPC kit but at $4900 to get the same power as a DTS will deliver I couldnt justify spending an extra $1900 for...
Yeah and if I was a betting man I can almount guarentee you people in their SUV will still try a double black track and someone like us who own well setup 4wd's will have to spend countless hours...
