There is a lot of strengthening added on and around the rear towers. We don't think a cross brace is necessary. It would also leave less room to try and sneak the 4" exhaust pipe over the rear diff
It looks worse than it actually is. Because of the difference in radius being less from the pivot point to the shock than the front axle, the suspension will still bottom out on bumpstop first. ...

Yes I have been away for a few weeks.
I did get to go for a 4wd in the Dubai dunes thanks to the amazing hospitality of Bulbous from Patrol 4x4 forum.

Chassis is primed and poly-urethaned.
Rear shock mounts have already been braced and a bolt on tower brace (still to go back on) from previous owner.
I think I will have to shave the top chassis...
Made some progress this week with chassis paint, wheels and tyres and installation of axles. This is a trial fit of the cab to check guard and flare requirements.
No springs in place yet so sitting...
