Have you got a photo of what you disconnected? No one specifically pointed out that EFI engines don't have a choke. It's for carbys only.

I found out the part that is splined to the CV axle is different, but the rest is the same.

I've got a set of MQ manual locking hubs for sale. Does anyone know if they fit the GQ/GU?
I've had a look at them side-by-side with my spare GQ ones and they look identical. Correct??

If you have a bit of wear in the front prop shaft splines then it will tend to rumble alot, so there is potential damage after a period of time. It's best to unlock the hubs to avoid this.
