It will only take one experienced bloke to see what's wrong. Find that bloke and leave a beer trail to your patrol. Also, borrow a mates good tyres and take it for a drive. See what happens. Hit up...
Ooops, didn't read the third page. That tyre wear that they say is more pronounced now due to new bearings, not sure I'm believing that. I think they retorqued your bearings and didnt want to take...
I am going to say that they have buggered up. What I cannot believe, as a mechanic myself, that they did not immediately get your car back up on that hoist and strip those hubs down again, at the...
Yeah teflon doesn't really have anything to do with them being braided. I have teflon lined rubber brake hoses. Doesn't mean a thing to you and me, just potentially longer lasting.
Yep, dash looks about the same as that from memory.
Yeah I have teflon brake lines now on the front now, but unfortunately they do not have the same mechanical advantage as braided.
Build a faraday's cage around your whole car. then sit on the roof and use your uhf
Ive bashed around an alpine head unit through 3 4wds now over 10 years. Still goes strong. Benefit of rearward usb is you can run it under the carpet and have it come up near your centre console and...
G'day,
My gq td42 dash has kicked the bucket and decided to tell me its doing 160km/hr. Before that it was jumping all over the place. I know it is a common issue. What I want to know is how do you...
G'day, reason I never went braided front brake lines was because they are not adr approved. The materials yes, but because of the rotation on the front wheels braided lines do not wear like factory...
G'day Guys,
I just received my new 45mm adjustable tough dog shocks. And after extending them out I thought they looked very short. I sized them up beside the ones on the vehicle (pro-comp long...
And no I still haven't gotten onto anybody from superior yet, I have sent numerous email, not one single response. Tried calling and nobody was available. I havnt spent much time trying to sort it...
Correct, those aftermarket brackets are so you don't top out on the sway bar bracket. I am hitting the bottom of where those brackets bolt onto, so those brackets would be about as useful as tits on...
I would highly doubt it. I would suspect that there is either a part in the the engine temperature circuit that you are unaware of, that the computer talks to that you possibly wouldn't think of. Or...
Working across the river from scubasteve, operating a loverly refinery.
Try swapping the wiring loom from the donor car. No other suggestions though, electrical gremlins are my bane.
Nothin worse than shit bosses. Everybody had a bit more respect when you could drag old mate out the back of the shed to sort things out.
You could if very clever pull your diff straight by welding on bracing. You would need to be pretty experienced at pulling by welding. I've only seen it done at my old workshop, never done it myself....
While we are on the subject of brake upgrades, anybody done the gu twin caliper and master upgrade from the TI petty I think it is(don't know anything much about gu's) as I am thinking of doing it?
Yeah I've got body to diff, just need diff to caliper. Thanks guys, for some strange reason I didn't even think of ebay.
Instructions say to fit with the superior logo facing out. Whether there is actually any difference or this is just for advertising purposes I have no idea, there's no obvious reason why that is. But...
Factory arms are thinner cast items, superior are much thicker laser cut steel with welded in bush races and welded in threaded ends, narrowing the gap between the two.
What i want to know with...
I'll attempt to draw some pictures today to show what I think is happening. But what I would really like to know is if anybody has superior arms fitted. And if they do, can they put a rule vertically...
I don't have a phone due to its mid flight altercation with a tree. I will pinch one tonight though and grab some photos. For this same reason I tried to get onto somebody in the know from superior,...
