Why dor you have to take out the dash? Are you going to put a later model dash in it?

I suggest you buy ECUTALK or similar. Then when you have this problem come up in the future, you will see any codes that come up. You then can clear them too. It will save you dollars in the long run.

I wonder how many people have exhaust jacks? Are they better or can be used the same as a high lift jack in similar lifts?

Instresting, Just installed a brand new engine which sheared the same pin. It didnt sound right from the get go, took it for a test drive and it failed on the return. Brand new engine from Nissan.

Never seen a GU with rust there.

Some common areas are
Lower part of radaitor support panel
Under rubber strip top of back doors
Under door sill plastic covers

I have taken the center console out, the soleniod only moves a little. I can move the selector with out the foot on the brake and also cannot remove the key.

Seems like a complicated set up.

Engine was replaced.

I have checked all fuses etc. I can here a relay when I put my foot on the brake.

Also I can change from Park to drive etc, with out my foot on the brake.
