not sure who did it but someone shot the intercooler with a c02 to cool it off real cold to see the gains and they actually lost power on dyno the theory was the charge was to cold cause the diesel...

looks like front main seal...but grab some degreaser or oven cleaner give it a clean..start it up should be able to see it pretty quick if that only started afew days ago

Sounds like a stock gu 4.2 to me...when I originally bought mine I came from a bt50 with a lot more power and a lot more earlier power in the rev range...so the patrol disappointed me the main thing...
Depending on which non turbo 4.2 if it’s silver top from a gq patrol those motors are almost as good as the factory turbo gu motors for running turbos ect...the blacktop non turbo can still run a low...

Also you just drill and tap the manifold normally 1/8bsp or 1/4 bsb if it’s the reducing bush type...
Most put egt prob in dump pipe because it’s easy...the best place is in the exhaust manifold where all the exhaust runners merge together right before the turbo turbo flange....

It is pre turbo but this is when the alarm went off and realised could have easy went another 100c if I didn’t here the alarm I’m thinking

orginally i didnt think it went on a dyno after seeing the issues... but photos later on showed it on the dyno....the tune cost me $500 which i know is on the more expensive side for mechanical...
didnt receive a dyno printout and i do feel like a idiot about not getting it now... i orginally didnt think it went on a dyno after finding everything out but did see later on they did post about...
Sure is rusty not looking forward to the chat on Monday morning but that’s what’s going to have to happen...
