thinking i should have an intercooler and i guess i need to sort an air...
got my finger out and pulled the calliper down and cleaned it up. put new seals in it and bolted it back up.. it'll get bled later.

the parts interpreters state that gl-5 is the replacement for gl-4....it is in diffs but not old gearboxes, if ur 2nd gear is 'sticky' or stiffer then the rest my guess is u got gl-5 in it, I had...
I'd love to come but I just don't know if I will be able to.
I am running a synthetic GL-4 so far no issues, don't use GL-5 like the parts interpreters say cos that is baaaad.
mine has been in it for maybe 40k km still shifts smooth. I used Nulon can't...
it may wear out quicker... I have seen a few without the rubber sleeve that should of had one ... also seen them swell do to the wrong stuff being used to grease or clean them.
I know the sleeve you are talking about, seen a few different cars with them, why they have them ....my guess would be to stop the pin from rattling
stuffing a rag around the air gun is enough to push it to the filter, it is nice to have another person to help,
you don't want to go over board with the pressure.
if I have trouble priming the fuel I push it up with an air compressor in the filler neck ...
I had a look and yep the piston is squirting fluid when I push it back... rebuild kit looks like the go
need to get me a hone,
blinker fluid is fine mate, its the muffler bearing that's giving...
grr see a trail of fluid running down the front left .... gotta investigate but I think I've blown a calliper .... :(
top tip don't let your old car sit for a long time ...
I got some headers bout 2.5 inch at the slave, when the pedal went I just shifted without the clutch until I got to town. although not much changing down the highway sitting on 90km/hr.
sadly its...
I do need to make a shield for the clutch slave ... its gone walkabout, the pedal gets worse as the day went on then get better the next morning...
since removing all the weight I doubled the gap...
Well 3300km done.. she is starting to sweat horsepower .. and a few other niggles. Like my factory clock. Some rattles to sort but nothing too major
Cooling and brakes were tested prior to departure...in a cane paddock...
I had replaced all cooling rubber bits and belts 6 years or so ago... She'll be fine lol he says 1800 km in . 4 year old...
Still faster than a Hilux up a hill lol
Wish I could add a picture got a decent load including a giant canoe
Going from almost Townsville to Adelaide..no ac loaded with stuff. If U see frantic posting here I will be in need of parts.... Got 5 days to do it
Well the old girl is packed and am starting the adventure tomorrow
Yeah sorta like the clutch bleed point under the bonnet on the passenger side. Not everyone knows about it. But before she got parked up it got it's brake fluid changed and the brake proportional...
Fluid came out all clean
Clutch master turned into master and slave. Add a brake master, a seized bleed nipple, and a blown brake hose. But it turned over first go. Now to find a front brake hose ...
I would be disconnecting things until I found the culprit. one at a time,
yeah I had to search for figures in a certain makes data base, had a Bunch of cars going flat after 10 days, that was all they were designed to sit for....
new cars will draw 0.2 of an amp ... in shut down mode, it changes from car to car, once u got it narrowed down to one circuit it looks like your tracing wires.
cars will always draw some current,...
