I even fitted a lift pump when I was searching for a solution, to no avail. Could only suggest you douse the IP in cold water and see if lower operating temp. then helps it pick up the fuel.Cheers.

My Patrol has gone now but I sussed what the problem was with mine eventually and it was expensive. When the IP gets hot tolerances internally get loose to the point where it won't pump hot diesel...
Mate, I love them. I took 35" Claws off to fit these and they are superior. Their grip on wet bitumen is amazing, in snow and mud just sensational. In sand-yes well keep your foot out of it lol. Very...
Haven't been on here for a while.............again. Truck as it stands at the moment. Brushbars fabbed and fitted.ARB Intensity spotties fitted. Except I only paid $150 ea. +freight from China where...
Yes, my portal ratio is 1.22:1. No, they are not noisy-despite being straight cut gears. 1.4:1 was originally designed for comp. rigs. Current production ratio is 1:16:1 which equates exactly to...
If that be the case that every globe is LED, what quantity, type and lumens are dash lights mate?
Out playing!

Done and dusted.
The Datto is getting better all the time. IP and injector renew gave it new legs, tune up to maximise power shortly. New lights here and there, new timber tray sides with ally protection inside,...
Yes, still got it mate and still love it. Continues to evolve. Portals going well. Had to do some maintenance on one side but that was my bad with bearing adjustment overlooked.
Changing one at a time is helpful as it gives your hand a reference to line the new filter up against the remaining one. Then you buy a Cross Country intercooler and it all goes to shit LOL
Already had an incident with it. Winch extension strap broke under strain, simply fell to ground and absorbed whip in rope. Brilliant.
Been some time since I was on here. Truck continues to evolve. Old OME coils and shockies were past their use by date so went with Suspension Stuff Ultraflexy coils and Dobinsons shocks. what a...
If they used to be hotmix then little rock in that. Many of those west coast roads have had local rock roads for ages. They are very very grippy due to the sharp facets on the rock.
Think you'll find it's white because that's the colour of the country rock on the West Coast-quartzite to be specific.
Aimed to get to the Pinnacles, but ran out of time. Did Rawson, Erica, Walhalla though Yes, magic area.
Australia's most photographed service station.

Hey, that's the old Erica servo!
Interior is becoming quite comfortable lately with the inclusion of an "Outback" overhead console. Uniden UHF had to be force-fitted as it's very old (pre Boer War). Maybe an excuse to buy a new 80...
Very tidy. But, have to ask, what makes your design better than what is available already?
2400 at 100kph on 35s would be right with 4.6s old mate. I have 35s with 5.0 diff ratio (i.e. 4.11x 1.22 portal hub reduction = 5.01:1) and I get 2650 at 100kph. So you are on the money and should be...
$4200/pair inc. mounts, tracks etc. from ARB Hobart. But got 10% off, so $3800. If I had got factory new, prolly would be much the same LOL!
Yes Roofy. Means your back is fully supported from top to bottom.
Got a little tired of the factory DX seating so laid the dollars down for a pair of Paradrive buckets with inbuilt inflatable lumbar support. Very very nice. Backaches a thing of the past. Now for...
