You could be right mate. I'm sure I was told otherwise though, but it was a few years back when I was first doing the conversion.
As far as I know, all GQ use 10mm, GU N/A and factory turbo use 10mm and only the factory Turbo intercooled models use 11mm. 12mm is an aftermarket option.
