Nah have been 4wd-less for about 10 months, between saving for a house and having kids sacrifices had to be made financially unfortunately :(

Yer thats where my logic is going at the moment, i use my patrol as a tourer not really as a weekend play toy. A nice agressive A/T should do everything that im going too want too do, winch is backup...

Noisy, continually going out of balance, be lucky too get 30,000 out of them. When wet they are very sketchy on the road. Ill admit great in the sloppy stuff but no way i would buy them again.

Well basically your spot on, made a few calls and cant move or adjust anchor points. No chance of getting them put ontop of rear drawers either, no matter how good i make them.

Yer i know, was thinking about making the new set using 20mm box frame ( reinforced of course) and mounting an anchor point ontop of the drawer system. Just gotta see my engineer mate and find out...
Removed my rear drawer system too re-do as after measuring and hunting around, a pram wont fit into the back lol
Lead acid should be fine as long as they are not AGM Type (absorbed glass matt) and 14.2 volts is spot on for charging voltage
Do you know what sort of battery you are running for your second battery? AGM type or wet cell ect?
