How are mate? Long time no speak.
Yeah we've done a little bit. We added roughly another third onto the house with the extension. I still have laundry and bathroom to do upstairs, plus re floor the hallway and staircase. Then fix up the rumpus downstairs, needs a ceiling and lights. Outside is paving and pool fence as you can see, also change out the windows in the back of the house to timber and then render the back, build an outdoor kitchen etc etc.
Then!!! for the front of the house, change out all the windows aswell, remove the balcony and re do it, make the double garage with two single rollers doors, and a brick pillar in between, to one single door, put a new roller door on the new garage next to it and also render the front. There's more but thats all I can think of whats on my list right now. Lol. Im busy for the next 10 years atleast.
As for the Patrol, yeah still enjoying it mate. I'd love a new one but thats out of reach so I'm stuck with the old GUrl. She needs a new gearbox though, 3rd to 4th under power she crunches real bad, to the point its like Im not using the clutch, plus its done around 450thou so its time. Just gotta justify the cost to the minister of war and finance first. Lol.
Finally finished the boxes today. Took me all day but with a stuffed back I need to take my time at it. Tomorrow I’ll get some plants and mulch.
It’s not perfect, I’m no wiz when it comes to stuff like this, there is some things that are not quite right but it’s as good as I can get it. I’m reasonably happy with the outcome. Some plants will hide the imperfections I am hoping. [emoji38]

Scored a heap of wood, there's 2 more loads to get. It was all out on Friday.
You blokes that do this regularly when is it best to split it, now or later and some of them are 400mm wide, something that my 10+ year old $100 eBay cheapie chainsaw won't handle. Was going to hire a splitter what size should I be looking at.
There's a few that are thin (pictured with tape) what's the best/easiest way to split these ones..
Thanks in advance...http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2022/03/20.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2022/03/21.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2022/03/22.jpg

Yeah split it now while it's green, don't worry about a hydraulic splitter for that load, you'll have it done in no time by hand.
Just split around the edges and work your way around each piece.

Even still you'll be done in under 2 hours doing it by hand, I get 5 trailer loads like this every year and if I wasn't given a hydraulic splitter for free I would still be doing it by hand.
