That's pretty good Brisey, mine up around 20L. I've tried 98RON and now 95 E10.
I'm thinking she is going to need a tune up.

It was averaging 20 while the wife was driving it but she has a heavier foot than I do. The first tank was 98RON that the dealer put in but I use 95RON with no apparent difference in drivability
Cheers Bri
You won't notice the difference between E10, 91, 95 or 98 unless your after full grunt/heavy towing and the manual says you can run any of those fuels in the S4.
What happens if you start lead footing it is the knock sensor will pick up any detonation from lower RON and tell the ECU which backs off a tad.
If your just wallying around the place you won't notice much difference in driveability in the seat of your daks, indeed some owners reckon they get better fuel economy on 91 as a daily.
FWIW I run mostly 95, cause I won't put E10 in a hired lawn mower let alone my cars and the extra few CPL for 95 over 91 is pfffft
Well done Brisey and you picked the best of the colours too IMO. I must enjoy mine too much because I am not getting near 12.5, I have a few things hanging off her now so that might be part of the problem.
Well there ya the very last page , turns out it's also on page 9-5,
The way I read that it's saying except for South Africa use 95 -98
For SA use at least 95 and if no PULP is available , 91 is ok .
I can't see anything about E10
There must be something different with the South African VK56VD engine and the Aussie VD engine
and the 91 is only for SA .
I have use some 91 and e10 in mine but not much , a lot of ppl saying it will bugger up the cats , yeah I know that is probably only a opinion with no real evidence to back it up .
I'm still a little confused ( doesn't take much )
