Not sure if it is the same as you call it the A/C idler and I don't have my A/C belt hooked on yet, but I have replaced one idler bearing on my TD with this one, japanese:

Changed the Oil and all Filters, gearing up for an extended trip to SA (health permitting). Did a quick SA trip to catch up with family pre Xmas, now going to have a longer look around.
I’ve got to do something otherwise I’ll have to sell the Patrol and van. Already selling the house to downsize.

found a bloody rattle that sounded like when you spin cleaned wheel bearing before you grease them. A stone, stuck in a hole, it was rounded off and smooth.
Also, was under the rear of the Trol on Saturday and looked at my rear sway bar links & remembered, Oh yeah, that's that stuffed link I told my self to replace at Laverton WA about 20,000k's and 1 trip ago. It's got another trip in it.
