Chucked it back in the garage and removed the injectors again. Yesterday that was...
Got them reset to near factory, 110bar crack pressure, after the injectors in there were ranging from 105bar to 125bar. The Patrol drove better but still getting hot. After speaking with AG Diesel, again, he asked for the numbers off the injector pump he built. He came back to me saying this pump setup requires 150bar crack pressure injectors and the pump timing to be set at .90. Then re-assess after this.
So I will get the injectors set at 150 bar, adjust the timing and see. No holding my breath for anything to change but we'll see.
What was the crack pressure before you had then reduced to 110? Did AG supply both the injectors and the pump? Were you ever told of this relationship between the pump and the injector cracking pressure or the timing adjustment? Seems like some disconnect here mark?
