I am a new member (West Auckland, NZ) as the proud owner of a standard 1991 Nissan Patrol manual non-turbo 4.2 - the simplest beast I can find. In fact has anyone worked out why Nissan hardly ever supplies manual transmisisons any more?? It's our second one after the previous one (same model but with high roof) rusted out around the sunroof. But even better after going through two Landcruisers that totally rusted out. And I joined because I want to find out how to do some simple things like replace the steering wheel, dashboard lights - stuff like that. If I can find out through the manual, fine, but there may be quicker options if others have done these things themselves.
Thank you for the download. I've just managed to get a 1995 GQ TD4.2 as a donor vehicle, to swap the 2.8 engine from my GU, after nearly 2 years of searching. This manual is going to help me greatly.
Thanks ...

Tried to download manual but got denied. And I never got my confirmation email either.
Just rebuild my TD 42 now, Had the black machined and theres a new updated liner than can be used, The liners are much thicker and eliminate the age old problem of the block cracking,
