I like the knives from railway spikes
They would be solid and hokd an edge.
Dad made 1 years ago out of an old power hacksaw blade and an M16 hilt / handle. Don't think he sharpened it in ivrr 20 years and can still take the hair off your hands lol

Here's a big arsed Bowie knife I've been working on. More like a small machete ;)
It's a bit amateurish but when finished hopefully look half ok. I've also got an old paper guillotine blade to make another one

@ OD received reply to my email from Ralph Cobb , he says its a KS98 bayonet the scabbard is M1871/84 or 1884/98 first pattern bayonet. His Words
