Headed off to Ramingining today.
Great drive. 100 km bush track. Good creek crossings. Lots of ruts and corrugations and dust! All in a days work

Maningrida is a good spot, I used to go out there when I worked for Telstra.
Job here bigger than expected. Still here. Still working :(
i hope the barra and muddies are biting :) we used to get the barra and the bloke at the garage used to get the muddies and we would cook up a good old feed when we stayed at maningrida.
Back out this week. Crossing was nearly 700mm at the start. Running pretty hard. Big saltie waiting at side too. !!

A nice drive out there isn't it? Mind you, at times you can lose yourself in the hum of the tyres reflecting back off the scrub and everything looks so much the same.
Magic!
Always a big croc or two at Cahill's Crossing, and yet the local kids will be in and out of the water, and playing on the rocks, fishing etc. Water is right up by the looks of those pics. Tide + rain was it?
mullet tastes better perhaps...;)
Well I’d prefer it. :)
Yeah it was a combination if rain and high tide. Is a nice drive tho. Don't think I've ever been over there and not seen a croc.
