I've been to byfield for a great hamburger after heading to five rocks and 9 mile beach. My room mate loves patrols and after christmas checking out q mag. A bloke at my work just picked up portal diffs for his gq lucky bugger with deep pockets
I'll start up a new thread and it can be up for discussion as I don't know the area very well and it should be a family fun event
yah sounds good see what we can work out
If you are interested in going a bit further afield the trek to Stanage Bay can be a challenge but the free camping at Happy Valley and Plum Tree are really worth it

If You are ever in biloela, There are a few tracks at callide dam. Not the hardest tracks so good for beginners but if you search a bit there are a few more challanging spots.
Hey guys...I am also new to Rocky and on the lookout for some good tracks...just did Quay st today but very dry...still fun though, I too am heading to Brissy for xmas and wont be back till the 7th of Jan but will be looking for some day trips or whatever...will keep an eye on this post in future if you guys want another driver, my shorty is pretty well set up and I will have my winch and recovery gear ready as soon as I get back from Brissy...looking forward to heading out with other people...gets a bit boring by yourself and I would like to actually test my shorty instead of keeping to the places where I might not need someone to help me out...if that makes any sense haha
Cheers Jays
