Hey guys, was recently having a look under the rig after a trip and found
that my rear lower trailing arm has moved off the bush.

Any ideas what causes this?
Are the arms offset and have been put in the wrong way?
Also has anyone had any luck attacking the bolt with an angle grinder so they didnt have
to drop the sub tank?
Its a tight squeeze on the swb so most likely going to have to drop mine! :(

the arms are stuffed, the hole in the ends with be oversized and not holding the bush properly. best guess is the last person used too big of a die when pressing the old ones out stretching the hole out
Wear and tear and age is a common cause of bush failure. The arm are offset, its possible they were put in the wrong way. Who knows. The bolts will be tight to remove. With the right tools though they will come out.
It looks like you will need to buy new arms too if the steel outer of the bush has pulled out of the rod end. As for the bolts, get some Neverseize and coat the bolts really well prior to fitting to stop the bolts from seizing and grabbing the bush and tearing it.
