2004 GU Patrol ZD30 TD
We took the plunge after I purchased a GQ earlier in the year, It was time to offload the Hyundai Getz to the Inlaws and upgrade to the GU. I have been looking a long time and this car popped up and I had to have it.
1 Owner full service history from the city. This Patrol looks like it has never seen mud and was clearly used to tow a caravan. At 10 years old, 95,000km and an interior which looked as good as the outsite (no one must have ever sat in the rear). The missus and I snapped it up. All the mod it has is an Anti Rust electronics, 40channel CB, IPF? Spotties and new tyres!
I will post some more pictures but here it is!
Does anyone have a price figure for the 100,XXX Service?
Thanks fellas looking forward to modding it up!

Hi Ben,
Looks fairly clean for its age Well Done :clapping:
100,000 is a normal service from Nissan and will be around $300 - $330.
Big ones are 40, 80, 120, 160, 200, etc .....

Thanks Happygu,
As per the book it states 100,XXX is timing belt time.. are you sure it is at 120?
EDIT:
Just realised with further searching that it has a chain and gears which are meant to last the life of the engine! Awesome!

Bit of an update.
So I have it booked in next friday to KustomFix Morphett vale to change all filters and fluids throughout. After they re-open after Christmas I will be getting the NADS mods installed.
Looking for a roof rack tradesman style. As we do alot of kayaking and fishing. Anyone had much problems with the fleabay ones?

Nice clean example for sure gotta love the '04
you can convert your bullbar to suit a winch too
-
Hi mate just be careful what you buy from eBay in the way of racks as some rust internally and drop the rust onto the roof, IMHO you would be better off buying rhino racks for the canoe, or a tracklander then you won't go wrong.
-
If you guys had $9000. What would you spend it on first in a stock 4x4? Thats $9000 fitted.
-
Steel bar. The AL isn't worth shit in a collision.
The rest depends on what you want to do with it.
My opinion of course.

NADS
Exhaust
brakes
suspension
tyres
winch bar & winch
stereo
want me to keep going......?
the order depends on what you want to do, and how good whatever is already on there.......
-
Mild modification list (in order)
Nads (egt, egr block, dawes and catch can) + scanguage
2 3/4 exhaust
Braided brake lines
New brakes (if required) slotted rotars and A1RM or greenstuff pads
2" ome lift
Front and rear recovery points
255/85R16 muddies (KM2's or kevlar wranglers or nitto trail grapplers)
Drawer system/2nd battery/fridge/winchbar/runva winch/sliders
And that is your $9k more than gone.. Although if you DIY you might get it all done..
