That is so cute, Rossco. Had an afternoon to kill in Hamilton so I went to the Gardens and then the creek.

So found Kookie back out of the hollow the next morning but managed to have a go at flying. . . He was pretty sketchy at first but has now been getting around the block and doing well [emoji106]http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2021/01/11.jpghttp://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...2021/01/12.jpg

Absolutely beautiful mate.
I love the Kookas . We have none where we live .
It's like my #1 thing looking forward to when going away up hills/ high country etc ... Love the sound in the morning with a bunch of them around doing their thing... So majestic.

Hodgey Legend, you really should consider setting your short, at worst long term goals towards a nearby Tree Change Brother!
May cost you less conveniences at home and nearby but regions out there need good folk like yourself to enjoy the simples in life everyday you deserve [emoji106][emoji106]

Agreed. Best thing I did was move out of Mill Park. Eltham is not my ideal living, something with more space is but its certainly full of bird life here.
Whereas at Mill Park, or MillParkistan I call it, the only bird sounds I heard was the old duck next door screaming at her kids with f@&k used in every sentence. Sooo much better here.
Clearing out a gutter, and Lightning strikes real close. I don't think I have ever moved so fast in my life!!!
All the bird life took off and left about an hour ago. I shoulda taken note.
