TLCC 4x4 Willowglen Challenge 2013 ( NSW )

Yes I know its held by the Toyota Land Cruiser Club of Australia but hey its a 4wd comp and I'm sure there will be a real four wheel drive in amongst them somewhere :)


October Long Weekend 2013 ( 4th - 6th )

The TLCC Willowglen 4x4 Challenge is an exciting 4WD event held annually over the October Long Weekend with this year’s event being held on the 4th, 5th and 6th of October 2013. The Willowglen 4x4 Challenge sees more than 20 teams from various registered 4WD clubs from NSW & ACT competing over a Friday night stage, four stages on Saturday and four stages on Sunday.

The competition stages are designed to suit both competitors and spectators and ensure maximum enjoyment, speedy recovery of vehicles and continuous running of events. All stages are a test of both driver & navigator skill and vehicle capability.

Willowglen is located near Tarago some 40 minutes south of Goulburn. On event weekend, direction signs will be posted along the road giving directions to the Challenge from Tarago. Importantly, you don't need a four wheel drive to get there. The property and car parks can be accessed by two wheel drive vehicles.

The event is hosted by the Toyota Land Cruiser Club of Australia, and regarded as the premier 4WD competition in NSW.

Does that mean your travelling up for this one TD????

Was invited a few years back and was very keen to go, but something happened and we never went.
Then a few of us from the landcruiser club {vic} were going to go again no one went. Dont know why.
Trying to get to Loveday as well, must pull the old finger out and start doing some events. Did BOHO for a few years
bit hard as a daily driver, competing and hoping youre able to drive home , Need something with a low care factor
maybe a cheap GQ petrol with a turbo taped to it.???? Trailer that over. Would be very competitve IMO

Well if you want 2 compete in a something with low care factor buy a GU 2 compete in, but you wouldn't win any comps in a GU

Imo GU are too wide, GQs seem to still be cleaning up in most comps around the traps.

That's only because there are unbreakable TD, but one would struggle to tow a GQ with a GU, Maybe its time to upgrade to 2 GQ's *LMAO*
