What I've heard is that a lot of LPG installers actually 'eat up' the govt. rebates, upping the cost of install so the end user effectively doesn't make any savings at all. It was pretty apparent in WA when the price of LPG installations dropped accordingly as the double rebate (federal and WA) system was canned! Maybe someone else can comment on this?

i already had the LPG in my MIGHTY GQ but was rooted. spent $2500 roughly on new 120L tank and regulator. (including installation)
it was very painfull at the time

Spend ? with the government rebate (long term rip off scheme) i made money lol.

If and when I have to replace my LPG system I would absolutely love liquid injection and in my opinion it would be worth the extra money.
I dunno what size LPG tank I've got but it's bloody massive. If I run it completely empty I can put 110L in.

i bought a prins injection system for $2250 ish plus got a 2nd hand tank for $50 (score) then installed myself. got the father inlaw to check and plate it. + $1000 rebate. so all up cost me about $1300. well worth it for me as my gq does the ks to pay for itself. ive got a 74lt tank.
Just so ppl know im not a gas fitter or mechanic by trade but i did do that stuff for about 18 months or so, so im not just a average back yarder i do know what im doing with gas. plus my father inlaw is very hard to please so if hes not happy with something ill be doing it again. (he is a mechanic / gas fitter)
