What's the thinking with these pulleys?
Do you replace the entire unit, pulley & mount or just the pulley?
Do you use genuine or after market?

IMHO... replace the assy (pulley and tensioner)
I used genuine so don't know if the aftermarket are any good or not.
There's a H U G E difference in price between genuine & aftermarket.
The price for genuine makes lithium batteries look reasonably priced.
I find its the bushes in the little spring tensioner that goes in them. as above replace the bearing is easy and cheap.
Thanks guys I'll look into it all.
The bushes flog out and the shockie thingo loses its tension. The genuine bearing in those are double row and a stupid width too, you can't buy the exact same bearing. The aftermarket tensioners use a single row bearing, they work but wont last. Been down this road many times before. The best thing is to buy an OEM tensioner, and an aftermarket as a spare and keep this under the passenger seat.
mudski is spot on use genuine and only after market for a short time. alot of things on the patrol love to be only genuine such as tentioner, belt, fuel filter. ive tried non gen and always end up back to genuine poor man pays twice
better to just buy genuine and you will only cry once.
Yeah when I had my Grenade I always had a spare MAF, belt and tensioner under the passenger seat.
