@AB has 63% reductions which are the custom sets. Marks do the 43% and the 83%
Ah rodger, that kinda makes me happy, definatly glad didnt go with the 20 whatevers. Looking for slightly lower but not a crazy crawler. Sure I'll be happy with these, full low ones wouldn't suit my driving style I think whatever that is lol. .

Awesome choice Rossco, personally reckon your circa 150rwkw TD42Ti with 43% reduction through to your 4.6 pumpkins powering 35’s will be the absolute perfect Vic-HC match IMH Acronym Opinion [emoji23][emoji106]
Our 6.5NA grunter slug is a wee bit too slow with 63% through to 4.3’s powering the same rubber sized boots.

Welcome to borrow our die grinder when the time comes too mate, I believe the higher 20’s from Marks are the only gears that don’t need slight internal casting alterations to fit, 43% I’m pretty sure does require a whisker or two off to fit.

Cheers Markie, seriously under the pump with work ATM so Yarra Valley 4WD have kindly offered to sqeeze in transfer case rebuild this week provided its out of the car. Also got talked into rebuild kit as it has around 460K in it crazy not to whilst in bits I spose. . Called patrolapart and were fully booked till December the 8th!! Hoping the 5th gear is a relatively straight forward install, from what I've heard different sound too bad. .

A quick safety word of warning Rossco and others no doubt closely following your Magnificent Silver Brumby rebuild [emoji106][emoji106]
We do honestly need to relearn our twucks once reduction gears are installed. Not so much on climbing/crawling upwards but descending on very long tracks with varying terrain can become hazardous until familiar with your new set up...torquey...get up [emoji23]
A known experienced decent for me was that I ran out of RPM in a now extra slow 1st LR and couldn’t regain momentum traction needed.
I now select 2nd LR on that decent as it becomes a traction balancing act of rock scrabbling through to slick sliding and then back again if that makes sense.
Worst thing we can do is change our gear minds half way up or down and hit ‘Angel Gear’ (NO GEAR) and away we ALL go with horrific momentum consequences :-(
