I've got a Series 1 TB45 GU, the drivers side drag link ball joint is worn and needs replacing. Are the ball joints the same part as the tie rod ends?

I've got a Series 1 TB45 GU, the drivers side drag link ball joint is worn and needs replacing. Are the ball joints the same part as the tie rod ends?
I expect that they are. You will need to get the correct Thea's direction though. Left or right?
I would stick with genuine though so hit up Patrolapart.

Yeah they must be Pauly. Never crawled under to look to be honest but i just pulled up a vin from a 98 TB GU, chucked in it my parts program and it showed the drag link end at the steering box was replacable.Quote:

That is interesting Mark, I wonder why Nissan would make them different? I just replaced mine and you definitely can't change the ends.
