Damn it. RIP a Gentleman. A Huge Contributor to this place. Many a time we tried to get him onto a trip but alas it was not to be. He did though sneak off to the Murray a few times to wrestle and argue with Roofy and Bob about the benefits of Coals On Top.
Line up the shot glasses Craig and Bob, John is in your house now.
RIP mate, your pain is gone. I remember the shock and heartache he shared here over the Murder of his Son, he never really ever was the same again. Heart Broken Deep. Now they share the fire again.
Damn it.
Condolences to his family.

Im speechless. John and I kept in contact via text a fair bit, met up with him at his place a few times, he loved to show off his old wares in his little shed out the back when I'd go over. Bloody hell!
RIP old mate.

WHAT......
Like mudski I too met John a few times. A really top bloke and one I'll call a mate. It's a shame that his constant back issues prevented him from going on forum trips.
Fuck cancer it always takes the good ones..
He's now with his son.
Rest in peace John [emoji120]

Far out. What a shock ...
Met him a few times when he made and helped me out with the recovery points and vice versa with his Patrol. Occasionally kept in touch with SMS and was wondering why he went quiet a little while back ...
RIP John

Holy shit ! That’s sad but I guess now he’s at peace . When I got my Patrol I was hurriedly trying to get a few things on it before my 1st trip away which happened to be the now infamous Dargo forum trip , anyway I rang him about a set of his recovery points but he had none in stock so he unbolted his & sent them up to me & I payed him for a new set which he then fitted Back to his , bloody top bloke & genuine . Every now & then he’d randomly send me a txt out of the blue which always made me smile that a bloke I’d never actually met was thinking about me . Sad that’ll I’ll never get to meet him . RIP mate .

Bugger, I've been away too long as well, what sad but belated news.
RIP T.D. so many times we chatted here over the years on so many subjects.
