Introduction plus my GU RB26DETT build
Hi my names dayne, fairly new to the 4x4 world
iv'e had a bunky GQ for a few years but has been claimed by my brother
I bought a ticking time bomb (rd28 gu) and then converted it to rb30 after the rd decided to BBQ itself, the RB30 went well for 6 months N/A just no torque but was fine off road at high revs, i turbo'd it and blew the front seal along with rocker gasket and dipstick out... yep she had blow by under boost lol

Now ive just dropped a R33 nissan GTR RB26DETT into it after modding a pickup, sump, engine mount to clear the front turbo and firewall to clear rear turbo. Im a RB boy all the way and know alot about them so i figured it suited me best. Only down side to this conversion is im using the 2.8 box so ill be after a few spare box's. Engine made 388hp @ all 4 wheels in the gtr so im hoping for around the 350rwhp on the 33s. Will be my slowest car but its a 4x4 i guess
I come from the tar racing world, have a 500+hp VL Turbo Showcar (built rb25) and a 515hp ve maloo as a daily so im addicted to power and fuel guzzlers. I've started to love wedge with the shack up there and getting older (25) clubbing bores me a little so this conversion had to be done. also i have a LS1 at home for a future project possibly another GU patrol??
Anyway if anyone has RB questions im here to do my best at helping.
