RB30 long term problem

For many years now my 1990 RB30 has missed badly when under load at slower speeds as for xample slowing down to go around a round about. The miss occurred repeatedly from 1000 - 2000 rpm. Over several years checked out fuel and gas systems, eventually servicing carby, getting gas system serviced, replaced coil and leads, checked correct vaccuum hoses, replaced vaccuum advance unit on distributor.

Finally last month the vehicle would not start and tracked it to no spark. Traced this to the transistor ignition in the distributor and replaced reluctor and sensor coil. (Non genuine parts as Nissan genuine were extortionate and two month delivery)

Vehicle now runs great and the long term missing problem has doisappeared.

Thought I would post this in case anyone else has a similar symptom.
