If the rubber has separated from the steel ring, it is repairable.
Drill a 1/16th hole in the rubber where it has come away at one side, and another hole on the other end.
Use a syringe to inject polyurethane liquid adhesive until you can feel it's all the way through.
Wrap a damp cloth around the repair area and leave for a day or so.
If you use too much adhesive it will take too long to set and not be as strong.
This truck has a little Momo in it and it blocks out the view of the gauges
Nissan Pulsar N14 (and I am told N15 but haven't used one myself) bolt straight up and are slightly smaller than stock but should be bigger than the Momo.
I have put the N14 Pulsar Wheel on a couple of GQ's and no panel visibility issues but will depend on driving position.
In NZ I would have thought there should be 100's of Pulsar Steering Wheels around so maybe that is an option.
