Just to let everyone know of the dimensions of these bearings as I went through all this many moons ago. The OEM bearing you cannot get. So here are the closest bearings I found...
For some reason I dont have the thickness of the OEM bearing written down. The ID and OD are correct, From memory it was 15mm. and it was a double row high speed bearing. In my opinion the 6203-2RS would last the least.
These were all for a direct Injection pulley, bot sure if the CRD bearing is the same or not...
- 6203-2RS 17 x 40 x 12 single row ball bearing.
- WC85703 17 x 40 x 14.3 Single row bearing
- LR5003-2RS 17 x 40 x 14 Double row ball bearing
- 62203-2RS 17 x 40 x 16 Single row ( I think) ball bearing.
Numbers obtained from the OEM bearing...
- BRS NBR+FE ( on the outer race)
- 005-110-564 / 396 J0207 (on the inner race)
Got the same numbers off the ome bearing but after both places here couldn't find it I didn't bother posting it lol..
I'm going back to them now with what I have to see if anyone does a high speed bearing as I think this is one of the let downs. The seals can't handle the speeds and then let crap in..
Replaced mine with a JAF 87503
10,000 km & still ok. Had LM-SA written in marker under the number, no idea what it means. From memory it was only 12mm wide.
Haven`t got a set of calipers but the original bearing is 14mm thick according to the tape measure.

Yeah correct, but a wider bearing uses larger ball bearings, if in single row formation, or two smaller ball bearing in double row formation, giving more surface area contact, which equates to high load and speed capabilities. Thats why roller bearings are using in wheel bearing applications. More surface contact. Cage material and seal design is an option for many ball type bearings aswell. The plain old 6203 comes in a few variants, depending on the use its intended for. 2RS on the end of the number is basically an abbreviation for 2 rubber seals. Which then can be had with different seal material.
So I'd still use a wider bearing, closer to what was the OEM size rather than a narrower bearing.
