Title changed mate.
I say go for it mate, and why because you can.
I have had a steel air tank out of a M.A.N truck since 2003, still not in the 4b yet, was one of those projects I started and never finished :(

X 2 with having a steel tank lying around ,with the promise of fitting it one day,
Then I have this one , Air on Board say the combo is fine for a locker,
internal mount only
Thought you were fitting a air horn with that one, its only 3ltrs I don't think that will do much regarding tyres but a nice compact unit.
Thanks mate,
Out with the factory wiring and solder joints.

These compressors have a different thread than normal nitto fittings, so out with the tap and die sets.

Now the fun starts, where to put the second compressor.
Are they sharing a manifold or one for each.
one in each 1/4 panel ???
What is the braided line you are using mate... I run one of those compressors and it gets so hot it melts the line all the time.. I have made changes 5 times now.
My other compressor is a TJM one and it gets no where near as hot.
They look to me to be household plumbing hoses, if they are could be an issue as they are only rated to 90-100 degrees unless they are a specific hose?
