Old thread, I know - but the sort of discussion that happens regularly.
I have the Hema Great Desert Tracks and the Vic High Country maps. They're similar to Rooftop's, but Rooftop's cover a much smaller area with every track listed and named. Hema are a little better to larger areas, but will still get you by.
Comparing Bright-Mansifeld Adventure Map and the Hema High Country, I prefer... both :)
This post was really useful. I followed all the steps, including copying them to the file sharing location via iTunes. But...., the map I scanned and calibrated doesn't appear as an option in the Hema App, either in "Maps at View" or "Maps Everywhere".
I've attached a screen shot of the iTunes file sharing screen hoping that might highlight what I'm doing wrong. I had synced after copying the file to the file sharing location on my iPad.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Hey mate wouldn't have a clue in regards to ipad or ios but are you using Memory Maps on device. Will need to pay the circa $50.00 fe to import own maps too. .

Sorted Rossco, I was wrongly copying the tiff file to the Hema file sharing folder on my iPad not the qct file. Copied the qct file over and all is good.
