Yeah I have my little stumpy whip and then the long 6.5, I keep the short one on most of the time.
The big 6.6 is best suited to open flat country deserts and stuff and the 3-4.5 is suited to built up area whether it be hills or buildings!!

hey mate I have the tx3540 and the same antenna as ET shows in one of his posts. Great combo can't fault, but on the other hand am fairly new to this.
I use 2 antennas the longer for hwy duties its only about 1mt long GME I think, the other is a
smaller version I use when going to the high country only 400mm long I think,
Both work a treat in their area

Not sure on brand but display on stand in most shops. 6Db for hwy, Didnt go that huge one as wouldn't fit under car port,
Sprayed mine matt black as have a light bar on roof, a good shop should be able to match up what you want, PM n me if you like I'll get you some info tomorrow if you like.
