When ARB did the small rack to suit the Utes demand went crazy, as no one wanted a full length rack just a small
compact job . Your rack fits the bill exactely.
I had my jack and 33inch wheel mounted on my old patrol on the rear barn door and it was pain in the arse not to mention the strain the door. I didn't want a dual wheel carrier because its just to much weight and having to fold out the wheels every time i want to access the rear of the car was not my ideal of practical. I use this vehicle for work I just have 4 large tool boxes I can access from the back doors and the rear doors, if i want to go 4x4 I just lift the tool boxes out. I can carry two spares now one up top when I have the intention of traveling further enough to warrant having a second spare. My high lift jack is my everything I have bumber lifts, winching chains, wheel lifter and all fits into one bag. It might take me a lot longer to get out of the shit but I carry this gear all the time because I always seem to find myself doing random 4x4 driving . It just seemed alot more practical to use the half rack. I'm having ideas of adding a single rail to the back and mounts to the back of the rack for a fold out tent. It might not be suitable for a family or touring,
