I used the DVD from www.res.net.au to study for the standard exam. They are $30. Plus my club did a few mock exams as well to get us ready.

I went with 3" exhaust. The CRDs manage the higher boost much better than the DI model.
on my Patrol going up hill with heavy load would cause the semi limp mode , no error code or check engine light would show up.. eventually going to a bigger exhaust fixed it.
I own a Fenix TK 41 and its been going great for years now. Its been manhandled at pretty much every camping trip by kids and it just works...
very nice pics...
How did you find the tracks condition ?
we are thinking of doing simmo next year.
Not exactly. The rear diff breather only goes to te cross member in the chasis, the front diff, transfer case and gear box go to the left wheel arch.
you can get a DIY kit like this....
PROs
- Simplicity: no mucking around as its easy DIY (dont need auto leccy)
- Cost savings: the whole thing would cost me about 350 as compared to about atleast 500 to 1000 for battery isolator...
my plan (in theory) to skip the whole dual battery setup completely.
I have a cheap AGM deep cycle that was given to me. SO when I am driving I will have the fridge/freezer connected to the rear...
I had similar issues as u before. On hills etc when going up the Patrol would seem to go into sorta limp mode with no code.
I installed a 3" exhaust the issue went away.
It is most likely related...

I have an Icom 440n and u can mound the body under the seat and hand set has all the controls.
I fitted the 3" exhaust and had no issues at all.
There is nothing wrong with the stock setup as such. I do on a fair bit of offroad with our group, so needed a 2" lift to stop the bottom scratching out. I still have the stock tyres.
The general...
glad u posted that. I had my eyes on doing the cluster after doing the cabin lights.
Welcome. I have the same Patrol in white.
The price of entry into the 2015 Nissan Patrol V8 range has today been slashed by a massive $23,400 as the company pulls out all the stops to shake up slow sales of its flagship SUV.
