Doesn't sound like the noise is coming from the rear end and not sure what would make that type of noise in the rear end with the clutch in. The camper weighs approx 1500kgs.
MB thats my thoughts too but the noise doesn't happen at idle only when driving with the camper on. My thoughts are that the thrust bearing is slowing down slightly during shifts and has some damage...
I have one of the Diesel care fuel filters. It takes bugger all time to install and is cheap insurance for your engine.
I'll have to look into the welding of the bar and moving the wheel carriers in a bit. Here are the pics of the water tank setup. Still have to wire up the pump and test it.
