Looks awesome mate.
Had some downtime at work last week, and been eyeing off this old air filter with auto drain in the out of service spares rack ( hoarders haven )
Decided I can make a catch can out of that for a...
If you think the diesel fumes are more noticeable then a remap won't fix it. The oem exhaust has a catalytic converter in it. Does the new exhaust have one? If not then that's probably the reason....
I've now had 3 Beaudesert exhausts. Every time there was burning off for a few days. Paint , or gaskets or whatever coating they use ...
A good tune or chip after exhaust is always good as it can...
It may be burning paint etc as it heats up, Go the remap every time.
Have you fitted a boost gauge yet or Scan gauge??
A winch can also be used to clear tracks of fallen trees, etc. And can be easily set up as a flying fox over swimming holes too.
I haven't tried the Mickey T's or Coopers, but I do have approx 15000 k's on my 32x11.5x15 BFG KO2's and I love them.
My experience has been - No punctures / staking (touch wood)!! and excellent...

I haven't tried the STMAX, but the old ST's chipped like no other tyre I have tried, so i wont go back there on principle. Marketed as offroad tyres, but not really for offroad.
My last three sets...
On my second set of P3's. Love them. Low noise, and they're aggressive enough to get me through the rough stuff.
I run MT ATZs, have taken me lots of places including the Simpson, Flinders Ranges, and most of the NT rough tracks. They work well, don't chip or cut much and looked after wear well. Only flats I...
I cut and extended my sender float shaft using coat hanger wire and solder. So the float drops to the same level as it would in the oem tank. Probably not the best way about it but i did with what i...
First up - I'm a brand new poster so I'm not fully around all the forum etiquette. Feel feel to give me a kick in the arse and point me in the right direction if I'm to far left of field.
On to...
I didn't bother with that when fitting my Long range aux tank. I dont intend on rolling my car and if i ever did. I think some fuel weeping from the cap would be the last of my worries. Lol. What...
Hello, no castor correction and handles fine.
I've ended up getting a pretty sweet mates rates deal that I can't turn down!
The deal is trade in the existing Bridgestone A/T 693's, 275/65/17 for some Mickey T ATZ P3's, 285/70/17 at $200 each...

Hi Rusty,
I recently had a look at them, ended up getting the Ironman Deluxe. It was a little more expensive but it looked and felt a hell of a lot stronger. Noticeable difference in metal...
I hear ya mate. I also had a very bad experience with a large 4x4 shop, extremely well known, a few years ago. They slapped a sticker on too which made my blood boil. Ripped it off soon as i saw...
Hi All,
Thought I would post a few pictures of how/where I installed my 42' Illuminator (supa centre) light bar to the roof of my 09' wagon.
I'm no sparkie, (but did have one helping me out)...
When ever the time comes to do the big lap, then I'll be fitting a 150 ltr Brown Davis number.
but very happy with my range ATM, Brown Davis used the OE sender from the old OE sub tank.
Well, I'm pretty heavily loaded so economy is terrible. Lots on the roof too. Getting about 16l/100 and around 19 in the desert. So about 1000km if I behave..
Used 134l to go Birdsville to Mt Dare....
