How did you go today mate?
How did you go today mate?
How much dust falls out if you give it a tap? If the air filter is blocked it wont be helping.
Are you experiencing any power loss or excessive fuel consumption?
Hows your air filter?
I would think it's definitely prone from constant heating and cooling. Spray the hell out of it with crc tonight!!!
Take the intake pipe off the turbo and have a look in there and also give the impeller a spin and see if its still spins nice or if it has any play.

Going by your performance issues and the turbo struggling to reach boost i would think the turbo is the culprit???

You're sure it's not blow by? Do you have a catch can?
Take a look in your intake piping before the compressor
I would be very careful with foil blankets mate. Can't understand what the problem would be. I've got a second battery and so have most of the guys I know and haven't had a problem with overheating....
I don't know about patrols, but I've had quite a few high performance turbo cars with outrageous under bonnet temperatures but I have never damaged a battery (even though I have melted a plastic...
Do both the sub tank and main fuel gauges work correctly?
The sub tank switch is just a momentary on switch with a light so it's easy to test.
By "repeat the check procedure" they mean repeat After turning the ignition switch ON, turn the sub fuel tank switch ON and OFF more than 5 times.
It doesn't always work first attempt and IIRC you...
No mate nothing you can do, I use two stroke mineral oil in my fuel 200-1 mix to quieten
mine down so that may or may not help you.
Where are you taking it for a new fuel pump? A new pump is not cheap (if you get it under 2k you're doing well) and it will need to be tuned to match.
On a completely standard motor though, it's not bad at all.
sooooo 111.6HP is approx 83KW, doesn't sound that great to me
would be much better if it was 111.6 KW
yep thats not too bad, if the pump is tired then that will effect it too but i like winnie wouldnt complain about those figures.
That's not bad, you shouldn't be upset with that
Looks like Hyundai use it too

Looks like it might be multi purpose. The sites below are not local but might help hunting around by back referencing etc

Sounds like a shut down timer problem. Do you still have it disconnected?
Could be a faulty ignition relay. Try swapping the ignition relay (it's above the fuse box inside the vehicle, bottom left...
Drop the clutch in high gear with foot on brake to stall the motor....
that will stop it but wont fix the problem.
I would and no doubt many others would. Things to consider though, if it's leaking diff oil, the diff is getting less oil ( depends how fast the leak is to the amount of concern). And the cv is...

Handy, cheap, maybe store your UHF hand held there, cheap enough IMO
as said above it will disconnect when the main batt goes below 12.8, have the same system in my work ute, been working great for 18 months so far running my waeco 24/7
