You have decent lift and radius arm spacers?
If that's the case, it's all your fault that it rubs, not the shock

Yeah I got those too and while they are still working, they're just too big in size I think. The front covers rub on the shock tower and the rears hit the spring and are destroyed. Already replaced...
The shocks sole responsibility is to control the spring, converting that kinetic energy to heat.
If you put your weight on on corner of the vehicle and bounce of it, basically the spring should...
How do you assess if the shockers are operating correctly ? I had a new OME system installed on my patrol from new. At 50,000klm, I pulled the shocks off and found the compression rates varied...
Another vote for OME. 170,000 km & still going strong.
I'm running Tough Dog adjustables (45mm) and I reckon they're darn good. Ran them on the Madigan and they got blisteringly hot but just kept on going. Great being able to adjust them for when I'm...
Yeah OME Sport would be my choice.
Old Man Emu gets my money. OME Sport is very good, mine has 240,000kms on the suspension and still going strong. when they finally die i will go tot he ARB OME BP51s which are next level but at this...
Yes, with higher boost/lower EGTs, but with stock ECU most likely get limp above 16.5 psi(CRD) and around 15 psi (DI), when hauling for greater length of time of say 10 seconds or so (with tow up...
Not sure mate, my motor has blown up once I pay a mechanic to do most work on my motor now, I can't afford a third motor.

So doesn’t the extra boost alone lower egt’s? And more boost would make it feel more mowerful.
Yes I'm now boosting up to 20psi from original 15psi. Will be winding it back soon

Users have reported boost spikes (ZDs), both with and without 3" exhaust. Shame that I did not have a boost gauge before installing 3" exhaust (would have been good to have the baseline data).
...
I’ve heard that with a larger exhaust fitted you can get higher boost spikes? Boost gauge and Dawes valve will sort it I know but have you noticed any spikes
I just fitted one myself, I think it's great. Egts dropped by between 50°c and 100°c, motor is much more responsive and holds speed with much less effort.
Only problem I had, was the exhaust hit...
Rob, Had one fitted (CRD) 18mths now all good so far (various road conditions). Only thing that went wrong (early on), was the angle bracket on second pipe section that fixes to the gearbox housing,...
Rob, any decent 2din unit, with GPS aint cheap. I have an Eonon unit and its garbage. The radio reception is shit, I put the oem unit in and reception is fine, plus the GPS side of things leaves a...
Hope this works.

Hi Rob,
I have a couple of threads on here over the past 2 months about just this thing.
I have installed a winch with cradle in the genuine alloy bar.
Then I installed an in cab controller. I...
Wash in petrol and then in degreaser and then in hot soapy water. It will come up pretty good. Don't bother with those stainless washable elements. They dont filter very well at all. I have two...
Yep, I love the redarc also, expensive but great quality. I only have one guage at the moment, EGT and Boost in a dual pillar pod. I also think the 3 in 1 gauge is too cluttered and prefer a bigger...

So over priced!!!! BUT, i love them and would get more.
Same EGT + Boost, and Coolant temp and transmission temp. Being an auto and towing I thought it a good idea. I agree with the good gear...trust comment.
I’ve got two in a pillar pod. EGT+boost, & oil pressure + coolant temp. Could’ve got 3 in 1 gauges but thought it may be a bit too ‘busy’. Love’em. Not cheap but good gear that I trust.
IMO a lot happening in less than 52" gauge, lost of options
Overpriced imo a nice set of VDO would do the same thing and easier ti read
I use Speco and had no problems in 8 years so have
