Glad you got it sorted, fairly easily.
I was going to say use a bus bar or you can do what I'll be doing.

To easy mate. Yea 1am no one was home anyway lol. Off in the land of nod..
Hopefully you'll get it licked now.
Nice work mate, looks like it came together nicely - hopefully you get the controller issues sorted out quickly!
I just followed the standard colour coding and it all worked the right way. Double check you have gone blue to blue and yellow to yellow.
That blue cable is the antenna for the remote. It is wired to a separate unit which feeds the solenoid along side of the plug.
If you open the unit up you will see 2 red wires running off the...
Hi Smoothrun..
I should have written solenoid not control box. According to the web site they are: "100% Waterproof competition grade solenoid". The box may not be waterproof but the solenoids...
Yep, I know what you're saying. I got stuck a few weeks ago and had to winch, but all worked well. I still don't trust the wireless bit (worked fine on the day) thats why I put in cab whinch...
I'm in ferntree gully, so if you want to have a look at mine to get a idea your welcome to come around

I built a flat bracket that spans the chassis rails above the winch and mounted the control box on that. I think it was the small red wire that goes from the main positive in (from your cranking...
Flip it over and rotate the gearbox and bolt it in, straight forward. I have the same winch and bar also. You will need 10mm longer bolts in the top holes that hold the fair lead in. Plenty of pics...
Nice job.
I'm building some at the moment.
How did you fix the carpet to the timber? it looks like a really neat job.
I use the firestone bags, I did a 5500km trip through the Simpson Desert and surrounding area in September with this set up, and some 4 wheeling in the hills near home, and they have been great.
I've got the Koni 88 series shocks all around. They are a soft shock, almost a luxury feel, but very soft on the rebound. I recently had them adjusted up slightly firmer at Fulcrum's after a lot of...
I have king springs , bilstien shocks and air bags in the rear, very happy with the set up, make shure you get the right spring rate to suite your load and accessories.
very nice professional looking job mate and tailor made for the dog too :)
i have bilstiens and they also work very well :) and are rebuildable too.
That's a top job mate, well done.
Wow, very nice job looks bloody profesh. At least you've got somewhere to store the dog on long trips!! Fits perfect!! Does look good with the carpet inside the drawers.
I've only heard good about Konis especially on coil suspension 4x4 ,
adjustable and rebuildable whats not to like
You can run the 33''s with the standard height suspension too, if you want to get the tyres done first
