That half height capacity is what we were telling the Expedition guys to do! Shame that TRED has taken the great design features Expedition pioneered and got there first with the half size.
Procrastinating about the format of the rear pod, bit the bullet today and bought the starter pack from TRED, which has a 55L and 2 x 27L units. Combo seemed to work a bit better than the Expedition...

You can get these clips on ebay or via Patrol a Part, not expensive at all.
I purchased a unit that takes a plastic 30l bin, on the basis the last one ended up a pigstye with food and mud etc - will see how that works out I guess.
