Is the clarion convertor still there? I'm pretty sure that the speedo is 24v but the temp and oil are both 12v as is the clock. If you can find them there should be a couple of light blue wires one...
Nope no need for resistors just replace the standard ones with led style ones and away you go. This is the ones I got obviously they are 24v because I have a safari but you can get 12v ones too...
You can buy bayonet led bulbs that just fit in place of the standard ones

There may be enough room behind the aircon/heater controls so you could potentially move it all down it may be a bit of a mission though I have tried to crop a photo of the area from when I had my...
Hey guys I've been steadily working away at redoing the interior of my 1990 Safari and thought I'd put up some pictures of what I've been doing so far. I started by taking the dash out (which was...
Awesome thanks guys I will see if it's repairable
Mine is just a SWB just the same as the patrol but 24v
I think it was the circuit board on the back because as soon as I replaced it with the new one it worked straight away and then all of a sudden it stopped and so did the odo and trip as well
I put my multimeter on it and the yellow/red wire which I believe is the incoming wire was 24v
