Trade background comes in pretty handy in the shed. Used to be an electronic tech in Holden's Engineering & Product Development section.
Done 80,000km touring in the last 8 years. Canning Stock Route, Gibb River Road, Tanami a couple of times, Maralinga, Goog's a couple of times, Oodnadatta & Birdsville Tracks, Solo Simpson Crossing, Walkers Crossing on our own, most of outback NSW & QLD and the top half of south Aus.
Still got some stuff on the to do list but not much. Plan on having it done before, not after retirement.
Might retire broke but won't need to buy diesel :)
