I have had to adjust them down a long way from where they were with halogen globes in. But they still aren't good.

I sort of have the opposite of what i need but don't see how to correct it. The high beam horizontal bar is what i need for low beam and the splattered low beam is really what i'd expect for high beam.

Any suggestions before i get booked or run of the road by a truck?

Hi, I have just fitted 70w hid light to my Patrol. On low beam the light pattern is like a splatter effect. I get about 75% of the light pointing down a darkish area in in the middle and then the rest of the light is dispersed up among the trees. When i switch to high beam, the light sort of comes together in a thick horizontal bar but is too low because i have had to adjust everything down because low beam isn't right. The left light is the worst, I've had a few truck drivers not real happy as a patch of the light points right up at their side mirror as i go past. As a truck driver myself i'd be pissed off too.

I read your comment about getting the 3 pin plug around the wrong way. I don't understand, there is only one way to plug it in right????
