Hi there
Just purchased new 10/12 patrol st wagon mainly for towing horse float.
was told by my local mechanic after he checked my engine type that they blew No4 piston .have done a bit of research and I think the problem was with earlier models, Please Advise.
also does anyone know if it is a series 7 or 8
should I tow in 5th gear at all , dragging around 1500kg I.E double horse float plus 2 horses
