Conversation Between rottodiver and Rocklobster

Hey Mate, i got a 4.8l patrol and someone suggested asking you about putting a iron roof top tent on a arb steel rack, usally you have the cut the rails off cause the tent is too wide for it but i have a slim 80l water tank at the back so even if i did want to cut the bars i if still wouldnt sitt flush to the bottom of the rack i was thinking is there anyway possbile to make brackets that bolt on the the top rail so i dont have to cut the rack off cause i will only have the tent on when im camping.
