Would anyone be able to tell me which doors from other models (if any ) are compatible with an 83 MQ?
and if they are, does anybody have any? haha

Never owned an MQ mate but the GQ and Gu 100% won't fit.

Hopefully some other MQ owners see this and can offer more advice.

Any MQ/MK/GQ door will fit an MQ
Only differences is the GQ dont have the 1/4 window in the front doors, and interior trims are different, but all bolt up no probs
Ive a few doors here, various condition, send me a PM and we will go from there

Hi, I have an '86 MK SD33T safari with the swing out spare tyre holder on the left side. The door is messed up. Anyone know if any other patrol rear door fits mine? Cheers.

Show us a pic of your doors. There's more than 1 style...

Theres only 2 styles in the MQ/MK range

Barn doors,ala commercial style(referred as a van)
Replacement barn doors arent worth much but are hard to find

Drop down tailgate and a lift up window

The lift up window style, the wagons and SWB windows are different and DONT interchange
The drop down tailgate however is interchangable between wagon and SWB

so it's my tailgate that is messed up. glad to hear it's the easier to find one.

I have one, no rust, not perfect, but pretty bloody good. You need to arrange transport and I'll accept $100 forit.

I have a set of barn doors that I have been considering mounting.

But suspect I will have to do a major mod - I have the drop down tail gate

I;m in melbourne and cpuld be talked into parting with them

I've checked the tailgate I have. It has the bracketsfor the long spare wheel/jerry can rack, higes and a few small dents. As said no rust, asking $100
