Well done for having the 'fastest fingers in the east" lolol

From memory, mine for my car were about $120 for the 2. I got them from my local garage. Hope this helps...sort of???

Coz there's so many sizes, if you can, you'd probably be best to take one off and show the salesperson. Using all care when doing so. I'd hate to see you get hit on the head again.

I knw this has nothing to do with your question pete but a quad core is a good computer if that helps ya. haha. Not sure about the flux compacitor just don't go over 88 miles an hour and you should be ok:bananarock::bananarock::bananarock:

Try this guy he should be able to send them to you. Is very cheap as he rebuilds them. About $35.00 each.

You may also want to try trailer places. Sounds a bit odd but, I know, but I picked some up from one here in Perth a year or so ago at the same length but a higher load rating (meaning they should last longer) for just over $20 a peice

Bought a set from this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-PATROL-GR-GU-1997-BONNET-GAS-STRUTS-NEW-PAIR-/230525701806?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35ac670eae)ebay guy a year ago, still work fine, and less than $50.

Usual disclaimer about no ties to the seller.

SuperCheap has them for most models. They are likely dearer than eBay, but depends what your after. Check out the General Mechanical Discussions thread for the link.

I just checked and they were $78.77 for two Monroe bonnet struts, and their parts code was HP006.

if your going to buy new struts, try this first ,chock bonnet with a piece of timber, take strut off, put a small bend in strut rod, replace then do the otherside.
i done mine 3months ago and are working ok for now .

Thats not a bad idea on already buggered struts. A friend has an MQ and the rear window struts are stuffed, will try this next time I get over there.
