So, I am looking to change the rims and rubber on my new rig but have run into a problem. The 2011 Patrol has a data signal speedo control and no one I've contacted (even those recommended by off-road centers and instrument specialists) is able to calibrate the speedo to compensate for a larger rolling diamter tyre.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? More importantly, dose anyone know of a solution other then relying on a GPS?

Cheers

Bugger!

Have you spoken to Marks Adapters about their speedo correction box?

If you cant sort it out then it really is not a big deal, once you fit the new tyres just take it for a drive and take note on your GPS of the speedo reading at all your normal markers. ie. 50, 60, 75, 100. it wont take long for you to train you head to make the adjust on the the fly.

I have been doing that for years, make sure your wife knows though cause she will get booked.

Is the sensor still in the transfer box as in previous models?
If so, you can possible change the gears on the sensor.
